KPAP ensures fair wages, proper gear, and humane treatment for the hardworking crews who make every climb possible. The hard climb couldn’t be achieved without the crew guiding us!
The International Mountain Explorers Connection (IMEC) oversees these efforts on a global scale, ensuring transparency and accountability in responsible trekking practices. Together, these organizations set the gold standard for ethical mountain tourism, guaranteeing that every certified operator prioritizes both social and environmental responsibility.
