• A mountain bike tour in Mto wa Mbu is a nice break in between safaris. The beautiful village close to Lake Manyara National Park is a green oasis in the surrounding Maasai plains, where rice, coffee and bananas can grow due to the presence of groundwater. The bike tour of 2 to 3 hours allows for some beautiful views of Lake Manyara as it takes you through the streets of the village, past the banana and coffee plantations and to a school.
